Gunnison to Salida
This is a short post just to let you know that we are safe and sound. We rolled into the town of Salida at about 7:30pm after riding 63 miles. By the time we were checked into the hotel it was after 8:30pm. We rode long and hard today. We successfully climbed Monarch Pass 11,300 elevation. The four of us survived the climb and then continued for another 24 miles to Salida. There is so much more to tell, but we are all exhausted so this is it for now. Steve will post a more interesting blog and some great pics tomorrow.
We plan to ride to Canon City tomorrow.

ReplyDelete63 miles uphill, and today downhill to Canyon City. Hooray for Jen and Ben! It is so much fun riding with them. Andy misses you guys so much!! He's thinking about Nashville!! Can't wait for your next blog (11,000 miles uphill) Wow!!! Thursday nights is not the same without you, we miss you both. Love you, and stay safe......
