Jen helps her Dad create a blog!
Day 0
It is a little after 11pm and I'm shocked that Di has yet to pack her panniers. She said she wanted to get an early start tomorrow morning for our ride to Mystic, but, uncharacteristically, she is behind schedule. I, on the other hand, also haven't started packing, but the difference is that I am on schedule. I'm sure no one expects me to be prepared to leave on time, so my lack of readiness is really quite normal. I don't know what is up with Di, though. Maybe all those last minute things she had to do today has put her behind schedule. I must be a better planner than she because ever since Di bought all the things I needed for the trip I didn't have any last minute things to do at all.
This shows the status of my packing (its actually a lot worse than it looks):
We plan to leave by 10am tomorrow, but we'll consider ourselves lucky if we manage to leave before 11am.
Here is a gratuitous picture of Louie:

Jen was very helpful in guiding me through the process of creating this blog, which was a more troublesome process than I anticipated. In lieu of payment, Jen demanded I include a picture of Louie in every blog entry. Ha-ha, I'm kidding, she just demanded he be included in the first one. Thanks for the help, Jen!
This is so fun! Make sure she checks her tires and prepares by eating a nice juicy steak ;) And don't worry auntie I've started my marketing plan. It's always a blessing when your professor goes on a 3 week trip.
ReplyDeleteSending good vibes and wishing safe travels. This is going to be awesome.
ReplyDeleteOK, I might've missed you in Maplewood but now I'm starting to follow your blog. Hopefully I catch up before you finish!
